Tell you what, mind, for all of the scrutiny that Régis Le Bris is currently under, the idea that Florent Ghisolfi should escape criticism is ridiculous.
Fundamentally, we had a mediocre summer. He needs to be held accountable for that as well.

FWIW, I’m not defending Le Bris’ decisions today, particularly at HT, but failure is collective.
He hasn’t been good enough; the players have let him down, and questions remain over recruitment.
Accountability from Louis-Dreyfus and Ghisolfi to Le Bris, Xhaka and beyond.

Xhaka has been a passenger every game we’ve played this season, drop him for Ahoka or Diarra and if he wants away then sell him in January.
Reggie I love you and will forever be grateful for the memories but you’ve brought this on yourself #SAFC
Had the chance to change it at HT and bottled it, had we got a goal back we’d have completely swung the game back in our favour. If Reggie goes tonight then it’s on him

Regis has been let down by terrible performances all across the pitch today but ultimately he is in charge, he coaches and prepares the lads.
Questions need to be asked.

Not for the first time this season, Granit Xhaka has been a passenger off the ball this afternoon.
He’s far from the only one at fault, but his performance has been well below the standard you’d expect from Sunderland’s captain.

Really hope Ellborg doesn’t let that second goal knock his confidence, I thought he had a brilliant game last night. It’s also good to see Alderate play with a swagger again, a quality player on his day #SAFC
Can’t fault the lads or the performance, we go again #SAFC
A draw away from home is never a bad result but feels like 2 points dropped. Nowhere near clinical enough and far too open at the back which a better team would have punished us for #SAFC
