Politicians say that hate has no place in Canada, but the place for hate is Yonge and Dundas, where Jennifer Clermont spits on a Jew after calling him a Zionist pig, it’s all on video, but the Crown withdraws the assault charge.
If she had spat on a Black person, what would have happened???

Why, that’s Ali Abdelaziz is on the far left. Manages a lot of Russian, Belarusian and Chechen MMA fighters including Khamzat Chimaev, who is close to Kadyrov. Abdelaziz was an FBI informant until the Bureau dropped him because they suspected he was a double agent. Looks like Ka$h (far right) has forgiven and forgotten. These MAGA weddings are Mos Eisley cantinas for counterintelligence.
Love is in the air ❤️❤️ Congrats 🍾 to our amazing @AlinaHabba & @turhanmildon 🪬🪬🪬

We told you so.
For years we have been telling everyone that outlets like @bbcnews were spreading Hamas propaganda
Now the truth is out. All those Gazan journalists BBC News relied on were just Hamas terrorists in press jackets.
How many Hamas lies did BBC News send viral?

Historian Margaret MacMillan: "I think democracy is by no means dead. A liberal world order where we actually try and work with each other is by no means dead. The entire world is screaming "Genocide!", "From the river to the sea!" and "Jews are the Epstein class!" because Hamas has run the most successful antisemitic propaganda campaign in history.

On the left, you have an image of Gazan militants captured by the IDF and stripped of most of their clothing.
On the right is an image from the RAF Fairford incident, where several terrorists are detained by UK counter-terrorism forces, and, as you can see, they are also stripped of their clothing.
This is STANDARD PROCEDURE when dealing with detainees who may be carrying explosives or devices that could trigger an explosive.
And yet, when the former made the news, media outlets described the IDF’s actions as “inhumane” and “torture,” and used wording such as “parading naked Gazans around.”
This is why it helps to be educated on these subjects, in order to understand the difference between reporting facts and pushing a narrative intended to smear.

Another Ontario man was arrested on Sunday for threats against the Jewish community, according to a statement by the Waterloo Regional Police.
A 33-year-old Kitchener man was charged for hate-motivated threats to cause death after police were notified of a Saturday livestream in which the suspect made threats and antisemitic remarks against Jewish community members.
The incident comes after an arrest in Durham last Saturday for threats against Canadian Jews, and the Belleville shooting last Sunday targeting a synagogue that seriously wounded a police officer.

A Jewish journalist goes to Yom Kippur services in Toronto and films protesters shouting “baby killer” at people arriving to pray. His employer reportedly takes him off the air and summons him to a disciplinary hearing.
If CBC punished Neil Herland for documenting that intimidation, its management should be ashamed. What a cowardly response from a public broadcaster that ought to defend its journalists’ ability to report what they witness.
An activist complaint deserves scrutiny. So does the footage. Giving the complainants an effective veto over a journalist’s account would be an appalling surrender of editorial judgment.
CBC told Juno News that reports contain errors and mischaracterizations, while declining to specify them, citing employee privacy. That leaves serious questions unanswered.
Jewish journalists have every right to describe the hostility they encounter. CBC owes Canadians a clear explanation of what happened and which rule Herland allegedly broke.

CBC’s own former Ombudsman said in a ruling a journalist’s lived experience can “rest comfortably within journalistic standards.” So explain this: Neil Herland @NEWSneil attended a Yom Kippur service, he documented what he encountered. He talked about his lived experience. Now he’s under investigation, ripped off the air. The double standard is appalling. Neil is a friend, as is the journalist the Ombudsman ruled on. @NEWSneil was one of the first to reach out to me when I called @CBC out. I won't forget that. @CBC has spent years plastering “diversity” and “lived experience” on billboards, in commercials and throughout its corporate messaging. That isn’t a principle you get to switch off when it becomes uncomfortable. @NEWSneil belongs back on the air. I hope the union is fighting like hell for him, but I doubt it. Simple Question: how many dumpster fires🔥 at our public broadcaster do we have to witness before something is done @MarcMillerVM?

No accountability. From the moment we arrived at this press conference we were instructed to ask “on-topic” questions only, and that we would be given “one question each” when we were called on. I was never called on & Premier Ford refused to take my questions.

Seems like there are a lot of crimes being conducted by AI companies tonight. The word “rogue” is the language the AI titans want you to use. Don’t buy it. They own this.
I wrote last week for @theatlantic about crimes against the human species.
“The rapid development of AI has caused widespread speculation about what will happen when the technology “goes rogue.” This metaphor should be retired, because it implies that the companies and individuals that build and deploy these models aren’t culpable for building products that are supposedly too smart to control.”

.@CBC says it values journalists with lived experience because their connection to a community can “broaden and deepen” its journalism.
Apparently, that principle becomes considerably more complicated when the lived experience is Jewish.
According to @KinsellaWarren’s reporting, veteran CBC journalist Neil Herland (@NEWSneil) was pulled off-air and subjected to disciplinary proceedings after documenting what happened when he arrived for Yom Kippur services in Toronto.
Herland wasn’t parachuting into somebody else’s story.
He was living it.
Protesters were blocking the entrance to the service. Congregants were being taunted. According to the report, people were called “baby killer,” one woman was called an “ugly Jewish bitch,” and another protester shouted, “The Jew smiles while he kills babies in Gaza.” Herland filmed what he saw and later described the fear increasingly felt by Jewish Canadians.
CBC’s own Ombudsman has previously defended the value of journalists bringing their lived experience and community connections into their work, saying those perspectives can make journalism richer and more informed.
So what exactly is the rule?
When a Muslim journalist speaks from lived experience, CBC applauds the effort.
When a Jewish journalist documents antisemitic intimidation happening to him on his way into synagogue, CBC reportedly investigates him and sanctions him.
CBC/Radio-Canada suspended its journalist, Élisa Serret, for engaging in antisemitism by uttering antisemitic tropes on air.
But CBC suspends its Jewish journalist Neil Herland for the crime of reporting on antisemitism.
That is not a small inconsistency. It goes directly to the question of whose lived experience CBC considers legitimate.
And at a moment when Jewish Canadians are being told repeatedly that their fear is real, that antisemitism is escalating, and that armed police are required outside synagogues, silencing a Jewish journalist for documenting that reality would send an extraordinary message.
CBC should explain the standard.
Because “lived experience” cannot be a journalistic virtue for some communities and a professional liability for Jews.

Funny how @KingAbdullahII failed to mention how Jordan illegally occupied the West Bank from 1948-1967, formally annexed it in 1950, and ethnically cleansed the territory of Jews in the Old City of Jerusalem. In all that time, they never created a Palestinian state. Then, in 1988, King Hussein, his father, stripped West Bank Palestinian residents of Jordanian citizenship overnight, another illegal move.
Now King Abdullah comes to the UN lectures about “de facto annexation” and international law?
King Abdullah doesn’t want you to know that that reason they didn’t declare a Palestinian state (and the reason Egypt didn’t either when they controlled Gaza), is because there was never a national identity known as “Palestinian” in the Arab world. This concept only developed with the PLO and Yasser Arafat in the 1960s.

As a former CBC reporter, I am appalled at this ludicrous decision. He wasn’t working. He posted a POV video experience entering the space his synagogue had rented for Yom Kippur. Neil is a veteran reporter and a friend.
I don’t understand why this CBC journalist is facing disciplinary action. He describes facing threats while attending a synagogue service and provides context with rise of antisemitism, terror attack and guest speaker. Thread is accurate. What’s the issue?
