Before its final closure, this was something to behold Open til 6am every day, Coventry’s only late night bar for most of COVID Me and my mate Sam would specifically go there to watch fights as we were genuinely guaranteed an undercard and main event every Saturday

Funniest thing about all the grown men having digs at our YouTube blokes is that the main reason most of them are disliked is that they have the nerve to not stand for things like scandalous ticket prices and club touting😭 The ones that showed integrity are hated for it. #AVFC

Best way I can describe that is disappointed… but encouraged. 2 points dropped and I really think we shouldn’t have been so cheap replacing Konsa, but going forward I saw some really positive signs. Hoping we can build on the point. #AVFC

Kind reminder to all cartel clubs: you tell us constantly we need to have a tiny squad cost ratio, and also tell us to emulate Brighton to do so. Brighton have a higher SCR than Villa.

In the past 10 years, Brighton have grown their revenue from around £24m to £222m. Sold their best players. Recruited well. Rebuilt. Improved. Grew again. No crying about the rules. No moaning that the system is against them. Just smart recruitment and good decisions. Respect

There’s no point in protesting prices anymore. Half the fan base are bootlicking morons, but I think expectations should be set in line with them. £100/ticket is the price you pay to watch a team that could win the League. Emery should have patience, the club should not. #AVFC

I can’t in good conscience call Manchester City cheats when the rules they broke are only there to stop everyone but 6 winning. They’re one of that 6 now, but to get there, it’s “cheat” or never compete again. #MCFC
