FURIOUS!!! Supposed to be flying home with @British_Airways to Barcelona today. Flight cancelled by BA on way to airport. They’ve booked me onto a flight tomorrow but refuse to help with accommodation overnight- “just claim it back!” was the RUDE response I got from the guy I spoke to - with a very loud sigh and a roll of the eyes to the people behind me! No compassion, no help - just “it’s not our issue” and likelihood of getting any compensation slim because they claim it’s a weather issue. Never been spoken to in such a rude way before! Customer service severely lacking which isn’t a surprise when you take away all human check in desks and replace them with machines!! “We’ve cancelled lots of flights today so we don’t have the time or staff to help everyone find somewhere to stay” - I’m sure your boss would LOVE to hear how you talk to your customers!!! Wow - just bloody RUDE. I wouldn’t have minded if the guy was at least a little understanding and helpful. Stunned - utterly stunned at the lack of customer service - especially when talking to women travelling alone - did you get rid of your duty of care when you replaced humans with machines???? The Civil Aviation Authority should look into how you deal with your DUTY IF CARE Not sure I’ll trust flying with you guys again - utterly appalled at your so called “customer service”

This Clancy trial has had me hooked, not just for weeks with this trial, but for even longer thanks to my True crime podcasts etc - but this deadlock has got me frustrated! I don’t want to air my personal opinions, but I do hope for everyone’s sake that it ends soon.

Two deadly train crashes in one week - last nights one on the line my daughter takes to and from college.. my heart goes out to those affected 😔

Tomorrow is my last day teaching 3 days at an international school here in Barcelona - kids from 9-11 years old I'm a little sad its the last day - it's been so much fun and so rewarding. Here's hoping they will invite me back again.
