i've been following @bruceonbitcoin for a few years and finally got a chance to do this his takes and ideals regarding the need for abstraction on top of opcode scripting for bitcoin are well articulated. Lambit is one of those DSLs targeting script. Check out this breakdown.

No one gave a f*ck about this piece but it was probably one of my favorite pieces I've written in a while 😭😭😭 (fun fact for a few months in late 2010 I was one of the most read math authors on medium[dot]com)
Can you actually measure bitcoin multisig risk? That's exactly what I got @setzeus to explain. He put together an eye-opening analysis on what factors go into a risk model for any M-of-N multisig setup. The numbers are quite intimidating but the reasoning behind it is solid.

damn the wallet space has been through so much this year. it really makes you rethink the use case of multisigs...so on that note... last week i wrapped up a recorded conversation with @setzeus on this banger article he whipped up which demonstrates an attempt in quantifying bitcoin multisig failures. i'll be releasing clips from that recording throughout this week. so if you're into quantifying aspects of wallets that might once have seem qualitative, then i'd suggest for you to check it out. and what i've taken away from this is that under the facade of any m-of-n multisig setup, is a large system of physical and mathematical risk frameworks that converge with the likes of traditional legacy/estate planning.

A few months ago I released a project of mine called Peel. The premise: A unifying layer of btc denominated assets from various Bitcoin L2s, for the purpose of agentic payments. Confusing? Well here's a clip of me further explaining it.
here's an alpha release of an idea i've been fleshing out... the premise is simple: every wrapped btc flavor has their own merit and should be treated simply as just btc. when you peel back the layers, it's all really just sats.

using an LLM to generate Mermaid code for usage in an excalidraw whiteboard has been such a finesse workflow for my dev videos but still, having a human eye to polish up the color schemes is where the remaining 10% can have a huge visual effect (imma sucka for tech flowcharts)

there's something therapeutic going through code line by line when you're genuinely trying to understand it

2017 - 2020 were peak years for crypto writing fresh thoughts and creative idealogical postulation came out during that timeframe. this was before the nft craze, before the memecoins, before when tweets had character limits, and before AI. the writers were all truly writing for the altruism and tech. this was also when Messari and VCs were actually outputting unbiased sound thought pieces. i just remember some of the most inspiration i got to work in this industry are from those pieces written during that timeframe.

share a piece, written during that timeframe, that shaped your thinking of crypto and still sticks out to you. i'll go first. @cburniske's Cryptoasset Valuations (INET model) for many tradfi folks, this one was one of the first attempts at applying tradfi valuation frameworks to tokenomics. medium.com/@cburniske/crypto…

ever wondered how a P2SH-P2WPKH locking script unlocks? that's exactly what i'll visually walk you through using this intuitive script opcode debugger that i recently came across.
Built a fun tool for anybody that works with Bitcoin. A script execution stepper in your browser using native WASM! Use this to debug your own custom scripts or even pull existing transaction on Bitcoin and see what allowed them to be spent. portlandhodl.github.io/btcde…[

Demo'ing how my side project, Peel, works with an agentic wallet signer, such as @OpenWallet. The key takeaway is that any formidable btc-denominated asset should just be treated equally. Peel "peels" away the layers so that on the surface level, a user simply deals with sats.

creating technical content is an artform. take the Bitcoin White Paper for example and think about how many people have framed that on their wall or printed on paraphernalia.

Was pleasantly delighted on using @OpenRouter's Ori Harness. Using it alongside its unified API key for auto routing just felt complete. I recorded a full tutorial where I used it with @OpenWallet and Peel for agnostic wrapped-btc agentic payments. Here's a clip from it
