Twitter, being run by a psycho eccentric billionaire, burning to the ground at the hands of rightfully pissed employees just seems like the logical conclusion.
This fear-mongering by Eric Adams is a dangerous political ploy designed to win him the mayoral race and now keep power and shape our narrative to hide his blatant failures and corruption.

A ferry with a capacity of 150 people will not do anything to alleviate A train crowds. I am begging NYC politicians to understand scale.

Also mayor is announcing the “Rockaway Rocket” with a direct ride to the beach. I presume it skips BAT but they didn’t say.
He says will alleviate A train crowds.

Looks like NJ Transit employees are staging a sick-out and it's resulting in almost a full service suspension on NJ Transit rail lines but getting almost no coverage....

TSA recorded 2,229,941 total airline passengers on Wednesday. as the MTA recorded 3,530,528 subway riders in NYC. Can we also get transit leaders to focus on how they can ensure people get where they need to be, and back up their operations with responsive customer service?

This whole thing is a very good metaphor for capitalism. I feel for the horseshoe crab getting bled for the name of profits.

NYC desperately needs this
"A jacked-up motorcycle in the middle of the night can easily wake up 10,000 Parisians."
#Paris joins other cities in #France in installing "Méduse" radars, which automatically ticket drivers whose vehicles exceed a certain number of decibels buff.ly/3D4Ue7l

That's actually closer than usual on a percentage basis. In 2019, we had nearly 6 million subway riders and 2,571,924 total U.S. flyers. It's sometimes hard to conceptualize just how many more people take the subway in NYC on a daily basis than fly throughout the entire country.

Agree ? NYC is the new Miami. Henri was our 3rd tropical system in just 14 months. We had Fay and Isaias last summer. The past two days have brought about 2 months of rain. 11pm to 12am Saturday..Wettest single hour in over 150 years for NYC. Got almost 2" of rain.
Going on the record that Eric Adams is going to be a shit mayor, almost certainly worse than BDB. Prove me wrong hopefully?
Eric Adams is just a phony, probably the only person running for Mayor that I think could be worse than de Blasio
Voting begins soon in NYC mayoral election and it's not at all clear where one of the frontrunners actually lives.
Or why he is *arriving* at his city office ~12 a.m. four nights in a row, including over holiday weekend.

Even as a transit enthusiast it amazes me that the NYC Subway alone carries so many more passengers than all domestic flights.
