CO PUC approves the Advance Grid Intelligence settlement agreement w/ additional language regarding prudence assumptions and reporting.
Commissioner Koncilja on AGI expenses: “This will be one more thing in the ECA to confuse customers, sweet lord.”
Koncilja wants clarification that w/ AGI CPCN there is no presumption of prudence. Ackermann & Moser agree w/ rate case of accountability.
Commissioner Koncilja doesn’t want to rubber stamp a $612 million project bc of a broad settlement. Wished there was guarantees for CO jobs.
CO Commissioner Moser originally wished to see a full deployment of Integrated Volt-VAr Optimization. She supports the AGI settlement.
Commissioner Ackermann thinks the AGI proposal would put CO in the middle ground for change, not lagging behind, but learning for others.
Now CO PUC is moving on to discuss AGI case w/ Advanced Metering Infrastructure, Integrated Volt-VAr Optimization, and Field Area Network
