A new PSN security issue lets attackers bypass passwords and two-factor authentication. Players have reported unknown family members being added to their PlayStation Network accounts without permission The biggest problem is that these added family members could potentially be used to access personal information, including saved payment details. One affected user contacted PlayStation Support directly, and apparently even support doesn’t have a clear answer yet on what’s actually causing it. For now, the advice is to: • Reset your PSN password • Change the email used for your PSN sign-in ID • Check your Family Management for accounts you don’t recognize • Contact PlayStation Support if anything looks suspicious Sony still hasn’t publicly confirmed what’s behind the issue.
