Lost my Battle Tower run on battle 40 to a Flygon crit Draco Meteor into my +1 special defense Suicune 😭😭

Thank goodness for Pressure because I tried setting up my Suicune in front of 2 HP Frosslass in the Battle Tower and they got Ominous Wind Omni-boost->hurt myself in confusion->Omni boost->hurt myself->out of PP so Ice Beam->Freeze but they ran out of Ice Beams vs Leftovers

In ancient Duel Links times I was so blown away with how bad this card is that I became obsessed with trying to use it. This is what I came up with and yes I did bring it to PvP and yes I got a massive dopamine hit anytime it worked

Almost lost to Kanto Ninetails on the ladder because they were packing energy ball and got a surprise kill on my Politoed but we clutched it out in the end

I’m past arguing with kids who grew up with EXP ALL and 10x speed up randomizers over the merits of Johto. My take is I had so much fun I maxed out the timer in HGSS without any shiny hunting and so if you don’t enjoy it, skill issue. That’s not my problem.

One good thing to do when you find yourself throwing because you’re so tired you misread what was on the screen is to queue again

Screwed up the end game but it doesn’t matter when you’re pure of heart and can sit 3 turns in front of +1 Staraptor without taking a single close combat

I’ve been focused on shiny hunting all month so I haven’t really committed any time to Champions but I still log in and do 1 or 2 battles for the dailies and that’s been going surprisingly well

It amazes me this far into the game’s life cycle how many Master Ball 2 level players will see solo Mega Gengar and still lead something that has no answer for Fake Out+Perish
