𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟯𝗿𝗱! For over 20 years, I lived out of hotels, rental cars, and small-town ballparks, evaluating thousands of players across the western United States. Most people saw the radar gun. Very few ever saw what was inside the notebook. On Monday, August 5, I’m pulling back the curtain. BEHIND THE DUGOUT The Notebook Nobody Else Could Read This may be the most labor-intensive article I’ve written. Inside you’ll see: ⚾ Actual MLB scouting reports I wrote while scouting for the Angels and Brewers 📖 Photos of the scouting notebooks that traveled thousands of miles with me 📝 The shorthand, symbols, grading system, and handwritten notes that only scouts understood 🚗 Stories from the road that shaped the evaluations behind future Major League players 🎯 An inside look at the “secret sauce” of professional scouting that rarely leaves a front office. This isn’t another baseball article. It’s a look inside a profession that most fans never get to see. If you’ve ever wondered how scouts really think, what they actually write down, and how players are separated over hundreds of looks instead of one game, I think you’re going to enjoy this one. I’d appreciate your help. Like. Repost. Bookmark it for Monday. Let’s get this in front of baseball fans, coaches, parents, and players who have always wondered what happens behind the radar gun. See you Monday. #BehindTheRadarGun ⚾ – at Hurricane, UT
