This is not "keeping politics out of music." If he wanted to do that he just would have played the show and not said anything. This is a political message designed to suppress a certain kind of speech he disagrees with.

So tired of all the hate for the Trump administration being channeled into voting for democrats. Like y'all are not going to be saved from fascism by voting lol y'all act like Nazi Germany could've been stopped if they just had another election.
Ok but vote for WHO?!? Democrats??? The same party that lost to Trump bc they refused to stop funding a genocide, refused to do anything when Roe was overturned, refused to do anything to protect trans rights? Refused to ever do anything but obey their donors & Israel?
I think what Mamdani keeping Tisch as police commissioner shows is that the NYPD literally has more control over NYC than the literal mayor of NYC.
