Good on the @AP voters for not dropping Bama. A quality loss to the nation and SEC’s top-ranked team is better than beating an inferior opponent. If anything, there is an argument to be made for Bama climbing in the polls.

15 years ago today, tornadoes tore through Alabama, taking the lives of hundreds of our neighbors and leaving behind devastation that is impossible to forget. It remains the worst natural disaster in our state’s history. More than 350 homes were destroyed, and nine lives were lost in my community alone. I will never forget April 27, 2011.
I will continue working to secure the investments needed to strengthen forecasting capabilities across the Tennessee Valley, because our region deserves the best tools available to keep families safe.

Democrats shut down DHS and are withholding funding for FEMA, TSA, and the Coast Guard to try to stop the deportation of violent criminals who are here illegally. DHS has removed the worst of the worst, including from North Alabama, with individuals charged with homicide, sexual exploitation of a minor, aggravated assault, and more.
