D4 Semifinal sending East Union to 12 Bridges could be a wild one: The two combined for 129 points in first-round wins😱 EU scored 39 straight points in its shocking 58-25 win over Placer, sending Lancers to their first Section semifinal in 36 years🤠 3 VOL teams remain alive👍

Can’t imagine many wins bigger than this in the history of East Union than Friday’s 58-25 victory over legendary Placer in #4 vs. #5 game in D4🤠 EU physically dominated one of Section’s all-time physical programs & Placer was helpless against EU’s O-Line🐂
Time to prepare for twelve bridges! Last game I had 7 carries for 207 yards and 2 tds. 1 catch for 36 yards and a td! @treyshima @troy_verango @BlackHatFootbal @Coach_Green26 @NorCal_Football @WCPSacramento

Proud of these guys. They played 58 games in 67 days. Were one of the youngest teams, played the toughest schedule, overcame some tough moments and fought their way into the post-season. They defined toughness and grit.
I absolutely loved getting the opportunity to coach these dudes. Thank you for a great season fellas 🤝
They did some other cool things along the way:
- Set a Bomber record for stolen bases (126)
- Finished top 3 this season in home runs and stolen bases
- Had four walk-offs/game-winners against post-season opponents
- Helped the BombSquad make their first consecutive playoff appearance
- Finished second on the Bombers all-time single-season wins list

As for the @eccactusrats, they remain in a tie with @FortMacGiants for 5th in the division. Both are 1.5 back of @Bombers_Brooks for the final playoff spot. BIG 3-game series coming up between EC & FM. Bombers play Lethbridge to wrap up the @wcbleague season. #WCBL ⚾️🇨🇦

Stolen Bases Record:
Braden DeSonia nabbed 42 stolen bases for the @mhmavericks in 2022 to set a new high for swipes.
Outfielder CJ Snowden of the @Bombers_Brooks currently has 38 SB.
DeSonia stole 5 bases in one game to help set the record. Can Snowden do the same?

What adjustability looks like. Getting into the frontside and having length through the ball. Length forward allows him to stay through this pitch. You do NOT have this adjustability if you are spinning to the pullside. Work on things that translate to in game hitting.
