It hides them by making the idea of them too absurd to look at until the one figure no one can ignore forces the spotlight to stay on. Donald Trump is not the savior and he is not the final villain. He is the trickster inserted into the highest-visibility seat so the collective nervous system cannot scroll past the disclosure. Every time the old story tries to return to normal, he places himself back in the center of the frame. The attention stays. The files stay open. The clones, the doubles, the non-human signatures, the reptilian current that has ridden human faces for the harvest, all of it is dragged into the same light that was supposed to stay on politics. This is how the house teaches a population that cannot yet hold the direct transmission. It does not begin with a calm briefing on who has been here. It begins with the most polarizing body on the planet standing in front of the cameras while the doubles appear, the stories of replacement circulate, and the old “that is impossible” reflex starts to fail. The public gets used to the shape of the idea while arguing about the man. By the time the argument ends, the idea is no longer new.
