MO SD 18, @DustylBlue is an Army veteran committed to conservative policy priorities, and endorsed by some of the best conservatives in the MO legislature. This is an excellent opportunity to add a conservative vote to the MO Senate!

Hannibal showed out for Independence Day! 🇺🇸  It was truly a blessing to see the love for our great country from the people of Northeast Missouri.  I had the opportunity to share my message with more than 2,500 people, letting voters know that I’m the ONLY conservative candidate in District 18. I will fight for the unborn, defend the Second Amendment, and MAKE MISSOURI AFFORDABLE AGAIN!

It’s time, Missouri. ⏰ Gas is too high. Life is unaffordable. SUSPEND. THE. GAS. TAX. ⛽️

Dusty is absolutely right about this. The tax burden in Missouri is too high. We need to cut taxes, but especially the gas tax, as it’s one of the quickest ways to provide relief to Missouri families. Let’s get it done!
Missouri families are feeling constant pain every time they reach for their wallets. As your next state senator, I will fight for REAL RELIEF, and go to battle with the Jefferson City insiders to cut your taxes and Make Life Affordable Again.⛽️💵

Chinese should divest any interest they have in Missouri farmland and this should be done immediately as to any farmland owned within 50 miles of any military base. Force the divestment. Protect Missouri. Defend America.
"American farmland should remain in the hands of American farmers.” Republican @SenatorRicketts, Democrat @SenFettermanPA and others are teaming up on legislation that would push strict oversight on foreign countries buying American farmland. China owned around 350,000 acres of farmland across 27 states as of last year.

Fiscal sanity sustained another major defeat this week with @GovMikeKehoe’s stadium “Bailout for Billionaires”. He won an election saying he would put the People—not special interests—first. MO stagnates while he breaks his promises. Read my Op-Ed: themissouritimes.com/opinion…

Just keep digging. That section of law relates generally to all bills, meaning that for the most part courts assume some level of severability. But often courts say something like “well this part was so central to the bill that we have to throw the whole thing if we find a certain part unconstitutional.” The stadium bill includes an explicit severability clause, which is fairly rare, telling the courts that the general assembly knows you might throw a particular provision out and the intent of the general assembly is to let the other parts of the bill stand if the court does strike the questionable portion. A nonseverability clause, which *should* have been added, would mean if one part goes down, the whole thing goes down. That should have happened, or at the very least, no explicit severability clause. The explicit severability clause was a *serious* mishap.

Senator Moon has been filibustering for 5+ hours on the senate floor against Kehoe’s @DaveSchatzMO appointment to Franklin Co commissioner after his unconstitutional gas tax bill. He is standing for the constituents of Franklin co and their own senator isn't. The people of Franklin Co want NOTHING to do with Dave Schatz.

🚨💰UPDATE: Mediator or Enabler? Why $3.5 Million Changed Everything in Shelby County💰🚨 #CindyGate Senate Pro Tem Cindy O’Laughlin wants you to believe she’s a neutral helper—just trying to support volunteers and bring calm to the Shelby County Historical Society dispute. She claims she consulted the sheriff, listened to both sides, and wants to “be part of the solution.” But here’s what really happened: •She wrote a letter to the editor before the public backlash, openly siding with longtime curator Kathleen Wilham, portraying her as the victim •She attended to protect Wilham’s position, dismissed reform efforts as “creating dissension,” and encouraged people to attend the meeting to support the status quo •She allegedly entered the locked museum with Wilham, where the security system was dismantled •She now claims she’s being “criticized for trying to help”—but conveniently ignores the actual allegations of obstruction, asset removal, and board interference This isn’t mediation. This is protection. And it started getting real the moment the money showed up. Because what changed everything? The Historical Society inherited land that was sold for $3.5 million. What used to be a quiet, volunteer-run nonprofit suddenly became a multi-million dollar organization—and with it came the fight for control. •That $3.5 million belongs to the nonprofit, not any individual. •It must be governed by a lawfully elected board, not by friendships or legacy. •And any attempt to bypass the bylaws, block elections, or move funds without oversight is not only unethical—it may be illegal. So when Sen. O’Laughlin steps in, sides with Wilham, and undermines reform under the guise of “helping,” we have to ask: Was she really trying to mediate… or was she enabling a power grab over millions in public assets? The people of Shelby County—and Missouri—deserve transparency. They deserve answers. And they deserve leaders who don’t weaponize public office to protect private control. Will the Shelby County Sheriff & Prosecutor investigate? Will @AGAndrewBailey?
