Amazon, Facebook, and Ebay used the same boring strategy. Yet somehow we think we know better. 🤷‍♂️ Here's how a web3 startup is stealing the exact same playbook: Dustsweeper .xyz is a web3 app with one very specific purpose -- to help you clean up small token balances of altcoins, memecoins, and generally tokens that have seen better days. Anyone in crypto knows what it's like to FOMO into a memecoin, then end up owning 12,582,345 tokens worth a grand total of ~$.8.32. Dustsweeper solves THAT problem. And that brings me to the genius of the AMZN, META, EBAY strategy. Each of these products started with a very narrow niche. Amazon was only books. Facebook was hot-or-not for Harvard students. Ebay was beanie babies. None of these seem like a $20B business. But when you pick a niche, the product/market fit gives you massive momentum -- and you can ride that wave to broader and broader niches. When you check out the @DustSweeperDAO product, it's literally just one page. - Basic instructions - Connect your wallet - Let the swap bots go to work But it solves an acute problem that EVERY person in crypto has felt. If you're building a startup, learn this lesson from Dustsweeper: Start with a very small problem, and solve it incredibly well. Kudos to @corbpage @eiber_david @paymagic_ @0xSweeper @DustSweeperDAO and the rest of the team!
