Eleven years. Around nine hundred devices shipped across our products. The proudest moment wasn't building something new — it was fixing something broken that I didn't break. A currency exchange kiosk, rushed out under bad decisions, became the messiest codebase in the company. Two years later I went back, wrote the docs and diagrams that should have existed from day one, and rebuilt it properly. Most people run from technical debt. I stayed and fixed it. That's the job.

Elon Musk flipping car in the air is for sure the best marketing I've seen for an EV.

It's amazing what you can do once you start telling yourself that you can.

I can't be the only one thinking about the fact that the "modern society" which is largely influenced by dog shit logic from social media is what is going to make new generations.

Discipline is when you do something good for your self even though you don't like it. You are a baby if you think you should only do what you like.

if you want other people to find you interesting, become deeply interested in your own life. you should follow your mind’s natural curiosity wherever it goes.

No one is getting LinkedIn jobs because no one sane feels drawn to a feed that is a cringe train.

People are too lazy to cook for themselves, what are we even talking about with software
everybody’s going to build their own software just like everyone builds their own houses and cars

Happy Labor Day. If you work for a small business, as you enjoy a paid day off, consider that no one labors harder than your boss. Without the entrepreneur taking risks, your job wouldn't exist. Employees get paid no matter what. Employers only get paid if their risks pay off.

AI has given some idiots so much confidence in their skills, it’s infuriating. No you can’t build a software that has been running for 20 years, in 30 minutes with AI.

By the time you are complaining how you can not do something, it's already too late. Someone else is already doing what you "can't".

The world is full of people who will try to tell you who you are. Your job is to unlearn everything they taught you.

Very much this.
I would rather slow and steady progress over a pop off moment for any one of my goals success isn’t just attaining the thing; it’s being the person who can hold it

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that so many people who have spent a long amount of time in tech are spiritual

I love women but some of these super-hot women when they start making content of doing the most basic crap like translating "hola" into "hello" and wrap it as if they are having skills to now be teaching people tells me nothing but "empty brained" and its instant repulsion. Feels also a bit like a scam. I thought I clicked the video to rest my eyes only to end up pissed off.
