The school record was held by Barbara DaCunha Silva. Jasmine finished third overall in the event. DoSouto has now qualified for the MIAA All-State Meet of Champions in both the discus and shot put.

On Thursday afternoon, Jasmine DoSouto finished third in the discus with a season best throw of 117’ 08”.
On Saturday afternoon, DoSouto set a new school record in the shot put with a throw of 36’ 9.75” also breaking a 40 year old senior record set in 1985 by Audrey Drewett.

Owen Moniz finishes 12th in the 1000 meter run at the @MSTCA1 Large School Coaches Invitational at Reggie Lewis. His 2:40.98 was a full 3 second personal record. Great to see Owen’s hard work paying off! @DurfeeAthletics @Chezsports
Presley Yentz finished 8th in the 55 meter dash at the @MSTCA1 Large School Coaches Invitational at Reggie Lewis. She ran a 7.46 in the prelims, setting a new personal record for this season. She will compete again in two weeks at the Big Three Conference Championships.
The Durfee Girls' Track broke two relay records for the program Friday night at the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center. The group of Thysh Garcia Martinez, Presley Yentz, Shayla Harrison, and Aaliyah Alexandre combined to set the new school records in the 4x50 shuttle relay (25.90)
