In my next life, I want to have my kind of landlord again. That man is way too kind, mehn. ❤️ Do you guys know the country where those men with scarves on their heads and beards are from? That’s where my landlord is from. I think Parkistan.. not too sure.. Let me tell you some of the ways this man has been kind to me. When I moved into this house, I lost my job, so I told him I was struggling financially and that my rent might not come in at the end of every month anymore, but probably in the first week of the following month. He then told me there was a tenant who had two jobs and offered to link me up with him to see if he could help me find something. Another time, I had an emergency at home that took a lot out of me financially, so I couldn’t meet up with my rent for that month . I didn’t pay that particular month, so I later told him that I hadn’t paid the previous month because my rent was always paid by direct debit. He said he wasn’t even aware of it, but that it was fine. He even asked if the rent was becoming too much for me and said he wouldn’t mind letting that month go if I needed to find somewhere more affordable. I said nah.. it’s not much.. been paying my rent for over 2 years plus with no default.. Some months ago, I travelled to London and forgot my passport, which was actually the reason for the journey in the first place. I told my landlord that a friend was coming to my place to pick it up for me, but I needed a spare key so he could get into the house. He told me he was at home and could help me. He opened my room and stayed on a video call with me, helping me figure out where I might have kept the passport because I wasn’t even sure where I put it… At some point, he looked around and said, “Ife, you have so much in this room. Too full!” 😩 Before my friend even got there, he had already found the passport. He still offered to take it to the post office and send it to me. He didn’t even ask me for a penny. Another day, I lost my key for the second time. I was too embarrassed to ask him for another spare, so I decided to stay at my man’s place for a few days. Then one day, after I had a misunderstanding with my man, i couldn’t even angrily go to my house 😩 so I summoned the courage to tell my landlord that I had lost my key and had been homeless for days. He felt so bad and even scolded me, asking why I didn’t message him earlier. That same evening, he drove to the house just to drop off a spare key for me but already settled with my angry bird man so I stayed more few days. 🫠 I eventually went home days after only for me to later find my own key in the kitchen. And this man is like this with everyone in the house. Gurpret, I pray that the universe is kind to you, your children and your entire family. You are a kind and selfless man, and honestly, everyone deserves to experience this level of kindness in their life time.. I just wanted to tell the world how kind you have been to me since the day I met you. God bless you abundantly. ❤️
