Yesterday I read a judgment where a wife (currently embroiled in divorce proceedings) brought an application for an order compelling the husband’s girlfriend to comply with the terms of a subpoena requiring the girlfriend to produce banking records, employment offers and agreements, details of “loans, earnings, bonuses and fees”, payslips, tax returns, motor vehicle documentation, immovable property documentation, and other financial information and correspondence relating to her.
