Funny how the EV offence and Defence have practically flipped. The primary assist numbers have tanked as well. Rutherford and Co were trying to turn an Elite offensive 1C into Sidney Crosby rather than playing to his strengths.

Habs forward Ivan Demidov may lose his Québec driver’s licence. Journal de Montréal reports he got caught going 111 in a 70 zone on the Bonaventure expressway, this after getting dinged going 145 on highway 40 through Trois-Rivières in February. Demidov has a probationary licence for new driver, so those two tickets should mean a loss of his driving privileges in the province.

I think the biggest step forward from any Canucks prospect this year is gonna be D Petey. he looked so good as a rookie under Tocchet. He also played heavy minutes for Malhotra in Abby in 24-25. I predict he’ll be the Canucks most consistent D man next year.
