Another glimpse into the future of every "better than nothing" key card and #PhysicalFraud disc. All bound to become "exactly the same as nothing". Only in this case it happened the other way round. Game wasn't even uploaded to begin with, it seems.
This is exactly what worries me about Game-Key Cards 😕 When the download isn’t available, your “physical game” becomes nothing more than a piece of plastic that can’t even play the game you paid for. I’m sorry, but I just can’t consider that a real physical release. And now we’re seeing a concerning example with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: Holiday Play Edition on Switch 2. A physical owner reports being unable to download or play the game after inserting their Game-Key Card. The console displays error 2016-0070, while the eShop lists a download size of just 82 MB, compared to around 2 GB for the Switch 1 version. The cause is still unclear, and we don’t know how widespread the issue is. No download. No game. That’s the risk of a format that depends entirely on external downloads. Hopefully GameMill and Nintendo can get this resolved quickly.

What you can do right now: — use an ad blocker. uBlock Origin in Firefox or Brave on desktop. on iPhone: use a Safari content blocker. — ad blockers only work in browsers, not inside apps. delete free ad-supported apps you don't use. — kill your advertising ID: iPhone: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track" Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete Advertising ID Windows 11: Settings → Privacy & Security → General → turn off personalized ads — restart your phone daily, many zero-click exploits don't survive a reboot. forcing attackers to reinfect you is a real defensive measure. the ad that loaded while you were reading this post could have been the attack.
Let me tell you about what has to be one of the most important surveillance story of 2026. An Israeli company called Discover-Tech used online advertising to deliver spyware. Requires no click, the ad just had to load. Real-time bidding is the auction that decides which ad you see in the milliseconds before a page loads. Discover-Tech participated in those auctions on Google, Comcast's Beeswax, and Russia's Yandex. When Discover-Tech won a bid, their ad loaded, the ad contained a script that immediately called back to their servers, transmitting your device's ad ID and IP address. that data fed into a platform called Controlium. Controlium let spyware customers identify specific individuals inside that mass of ad traffic and fire an infected ad at only them. the spyware was Candiru's, now rebranded as Integrity Labs. US government blacklisted in 2021 but still operating. 3.77 billion ad bids. 120,768 websites. 75,373 apps. 161 countries from march through june 2026 alone at least 10 million ads per day. Confiant's cofounder: "very likely hundreds of millions of people would have been touched by Discover-Tech." The US Department of Defense. NATO. the United Nations. the European Parliament. the European Commission. the Armenian prime minister's office. courts and universities in the Palestinian territories, where Discover-Tech served roughly 2% of all digital ads and 10% of ads on April 7, 2026. Candiru's 2021 shareholder filings reportedly list a minority investor described as a proxy for Qatar's sovereign wealth fund. Qatar also funds Al Jazeera. if that connection holds: Qatari state money was sitting inside the company whose spyware was later used to compromise Qatar's own news network. Crazy! 🔥

This is why the FBI recommends using ad blockers
Online ads can apparently do a lot more than track you. Citizen Lab has uncovered a technique called “AdFection” that uses targeted advertising to deliver zero-click spyware. The attack works without the victim clicking an ad. A malicious ad can be shown to a specifically targeted device, exploit a vulnerability, and potentially install spyware automatically. Citizen Lab traced the operation to Discover-Tech, an Israeli ad-tech company whose Controlium platform was used to profile and identify targets before delivering the spyware. Researchers found evidence that at least 45 devices at Al Jazeera were infected with Candiru spyware between 2024 and 2025. Discover-Tech’s advertising reached more than 120,000 websites and around 75,000 apps, potentially exposing hundreds of millions of users to the tracking infrastructure. Google and other advertising companies have since cut ties with Discover-Tech following the findings. citizenlab.ca/research/how-d…

A U.S. congressman wants to change how we legally “own” video games. Rep. Ritchie Torres has announced plans to introduce the Power To The Players Act, a bill that would direct the FTC to create rules protecting consumers who buy video games. The proposal would give players three basic rights: >The right to own the games they purchase, rather than simply receiving a revocable license >The right to keep playing games after online servers are shut down, through an offline mode >The right to transfer or resell games they own Torres argues that if a company can take a game away simply by shutting down its servers, then the consumer didn’t really buy the game in the first place. Torres also hopes the legislation could eventually establish a precedent for ownership rights across other parts of the digital economy: “If you pay for it, you own it.”

"You just hate Ai art because everyone else does-" Really? Most of you don't have to live near data centers. Kaito and I bought a house before our local politicians sold out. They ignored our towns plead; they allowed [Big Tech] to avoid paying certain property taxes for 10 years and equipment taxes for 35 years to encourage building a 15 billion dollar data center five minutes from me while pocketing over 40 million dollars. What this means: WE lose out on tax money that [Big Tech] would normally pay, meaning less money potentially available for schools, roads, and public services. The "good": [Big tech] promises "jobs"[temp] and money for the community. [Remote is the goal btw] TL;DR: Big tech and politicians forced an ugly data center over an entire farm land near civilian houses, and WE are going to pay them for it. Yeah, I think I have a right to hate Ai AND a right to USE it if I wanted to at this point in time.😑 But welcome to the future, I guess! Your Ai art still sucks. "Get off X then!" All tech companies have now adopted Ai, I will complain because it keeps awareness; I hope you don't have to live next to a data center in your birth town while being unable to move. Keep fighting your local politicians!

I wrote a post explaining exactly why the Dreamcast will prompt you for the date/time even with a healthy battery, which has puzzled many of us for years! It's not your battery: the Dreamcast's hidden 30-day clock check dreamcast-talk.com/forum/vie…

You can't make a regular person hate A.I. The average person doesn't care about artists, or writers, or the environment. So tell your mom that her kids are gonna have AI p*rn made of them and it'll be legal. Tell your uncle their electric bill is gonna go up and it will be legal. Tell your bro that their water is gonna go bad and it will be legal. Tell your grandma she won't be able to breathe outside and it will be legal. Tell your sister they're gonna make deep fakes of her and use it to make her look racist and it will be legal. Tell your bestie they'll make fake n*des of her and it will be legal. Tell your father he'll be miscategorized as a felon on a google search and it will be legal. Yes these are all things that have happened and can happen. So stop using the artist argument for regular people. Try these instead 🙏

I cannot recommend enough to just wait for the sadx decomp, and never trust any other decomp or recomp of any version of sa1 if not a single known x-hax member is involved in.
Let's take a look under the hood- OH MY GOD
