OPUS 5.5 BENCHMARKS JUST DROPPED. It beats Fable 5.1 and GPT 6 Astra across the board. Agentic coding, knowledge work, reasoning, computer use, visual recognition. Opus 5.5 leads every single one. At half the price of Fable 5.1. Anthropic finally shipped the model we have been begging for. Smart enough to lead the frontier and affordable enough to actually use. Testing it now.

Anthropic is once again timing its next release to be on the same day as OpenAI’s. We’ll be getting both Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Sol on Tuesday. It’s going to be a big week.

Anthropic is currently stealth testing Opus 5.5 (`claude-opus-5-5`) under the codename `claude-wafer-eap` which is planned to be released on Tuesday.

Hi Astra users. A reset and a quick update on quality issues that have been posted around. Working with some of you, we have found and fixed the following issues: - Some skills written for previous models were triggering too often or preventing the model from checking its work. - An opt-in context management experiment that could cause early stops or replies to older messages. We've disabled it. Our rough estimate is that 4-5k users were affected by this experiment. - We've also removed some badly configured engines that resulted in a measured quality degradation for a long tail of traffic flowing through them. We’ve also made some more minor improvements and things should feel significantly better across the board. More consistent follow-through, better tracking of your latest message, and better checks on the work as it’s going through the motions. The examples posted and all the users who worked directly with us were incredibly useful in helping fix things quickly. Always grateful for this incredible community. And of course, a reset is also landing by midnight today.

GPT-Live-1 is now available in the API. Bring ChatGPT’s natural back-and-forth to your app, with voice agents that listen while they speak and work with the models and harness you choose.

AI isn’t going to wipe out humans. But AI doomers have a shot at hamstringing the most incredible advancement for humanity since the steam engine. We can’t let that happen.
Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

ChatGPT 6 Astra is AGI, but only if you use it the right way I've used Astra for dozens of hours now. To get the most out of it, you need to master these things: • Computer Use • Thinking levels • Prompting techniques In this video I cover them all plus 4 more hacks:

We will give one banked reset for every day you don't have access to Astra on your paid ChatGPT plan, starting today. Team is moving mountains to give access as fast as we can. First one will land in ~ 3 hours. There is still time to create your account if you don't have one.

Today's the day ChatGPT-6 Astra will release. The most powerful AI model ever made, with enough usage to do what you want Days like this don’t happen often. It’s absolutely critical you lock in: 1. Test these models the moment they drop 2. Audit all of your personal operating systems. Put your Grok Bot/Hermes/ business/ career other operating systems through it to see what it thinks 3. If you don’t have your own personal benchmark tests based on your every day workflows and tasks, build them now (will open source mine soon) 4. Put these new models on your latest projects. See how they hold up against what you were doing before 5. Plug them into your Hermes/OpenClaw. Measure cost per task vs speed 6. Have these newer models review your code built by older models. Find security gaps/optimization opportunities the less intelligent models couldn’t find before 99.99% of the world won’t even know what’s happening today. You’re going to be the .01% that jumps on this and attacks Lock in.

Claude Fable 5.1 is moments away from release. You need to start preparing immediately I HIGHLY recommend everyone builds their own testing harness based on the tasks they do most often Trust NO benchmarks Anthropic or random people on X use I built my own. Here's how: 1. Go to Claude Code (or your favorite coding agent) 2. Ask it to categorize the work you do into 5 high level categories 3. Say you want to build a model benchmarking harness. Ask it to come up with a benchmark test for each of your categories. These should be complex, multistep tests 4. Ask it to build a web app to host these tests. Ask it to plug into Vercel's AI router so you can get a full list of models available and test any of them head to head 5. The moment the model drops, run the battery of tests head to head with the new model and also compared to the model you've been using lately. You'll be in a good spot to make a true judgement on just how good these new models are

Save every penny you make right now Over the next 2 years we are going to see the most incredible, reality bending consumer products ever created by human beings Computers smaller than an iPhone running super intelligence. Small cameras and microphones that make you super human. Robotic exoskeletons that give you Hulk like strength All will be coming out between 2027 and 2028 Devices powered by intelligence levels significantly smarter than any being in our universe On our face, in our ears, around our necks. The issue is, these will come at a time where all hardware and compute is constrained. Significantly more constrained than it is now Prices will be outrageous. It will cause mass uproar and be the number one issue going into the 2028 election. It will decide who has power in the 4 most transformative years of our species Obtaining these consumer products will give you a significant intellectual, physical, spiritual, and economic advantage over those without the products You need to stop wasting your money. You need to stop blowing it on consumerist materialistic BS that doesn’t matter. Stop buying Hermes products. Stop buying Chanel. Stop buying useless crap. You need to be saving for this revolution. This might sound like hyperbole but it’s literally happening as we speak Imagine 2 programmers. One has access to Claude Fable 5. The other has no AI tools whatsoever. Which is going to produce products better and faster? Wealth gaps are only impacting programming right now. What happens when intelligence is integrated in all consumer products? How can you compete at your sales job if you have no intelligence but the other sales guy has a small microphone in his ear that feeds him the perfect lines that close the deal? How can you compete at your marketing job if you have no intelligence but your competitor has a contact lens that shows the perfect design for what they’re working on How can you compete at your construction job if you have no robotic exoskeleton but another guy does? AI will bring abundance. This I’m 100% sure of. All of these products will eventually cost pennies. But before AI and robotics get absorbed into the supply chains they will be outrageously expensive. The time for messing around is over. Stop with the Gucci and useless crap. Stop caring what other people think of you. Spoiler they don’t think of you at all. The only thing that matters right now is conserving your money, investing properly, and getting yourself the knowledge, education, and tools you need to thrive in the new world.
