ERPC and Validators DAO have powered up Solana Shredstream shared endpoints in the high-demand regions of Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and New York.
The update adds multiple market-leading clockspeed server configurations and focuses on relieving memory pressure, expanding page-cache and ring-buffer headroom, and suppressing queue buildup during spikes, reducing choke points across both processing and delivery so latency and stability hold up even at peak.
There are no changes to connection methods, pricing, specifications, rate limits, or authentication.
Approximately 50% of validators are clustered across these three metros, so covering them enables leader-proximate execution about 50% of the time and minimizes external network round-trips.
For stricter latency ceilings and always-on consistency, dedicated deployments are recommended; Metal Ryzen is the most popular choice in Dedicated Shredstream.
Per-region VPS instances are placed on the same network as the Solana endpoints, and even distributing 1โ2-core workers improves effective latency and drop resilience.
In September, SUPER EPYC VPS launches in Frankfurt, using a data-center CPU with a 5.7 GHz top clockspeed; availability will be limited. Bare metal grants exclusive access to CPU, memory, disks, and bandwidth for consistent low latency under peak load; Ryzen favors single-machine performance, while EPYC favors virtualization efficiency.
ERPC addresses challenges such as transaction failures and latency fluctuations in general RPC environments, provider-imposed performance limits, the impact of network distance on communication quality, and the difficulty small teams face in accessing high-quality infrastructure.
