Genuinely the worst loss in some years. Gunner was off from the moment he went down, and the coaching staff decided that sitting him for the rest of the drive was good enough. We failed defensively, allowing difficult conversions and gaps in coverage. I’ve said it week in and week out, the arm tackling and tackling fundamentals need to improve, yet they don’t. Right now I’m questioning everyone on the defensive side of the staff until improvement happens. I’m not calling for anyone’s job, but I’m also not full of hope with them. Phillips played his heart out again, receivers were doing a great job getting yardage. O Line did well too. But gunner needs to stop rolling out as much when he doesn’t need to, and also needs to stop taking hits. It is what it is, time to move on. The team needs to prioritize what’s important and continue to work in the bye week. #GoDawgs
