I HATE the narrative that Thiago’s profile didn’t fit us. As if we didn’t get the closest any English side has ever gotten to a quadruple bc of him. We were begging for him to get back to fitness his last season. We all remember that training video. The only negative was fitness

43 goals now for Salah this season.
What a player.
Sorry mate @Cristiano - but he's better than you were at United.

“The red cartel clubs already had the revenue so all Man City were doing was creating a level playing field”
Liverpool hadn’t won the league since 1990
Liverpool’s revenue was only around £70m higher than Manchester City’s in 2007/.08.
They almost went into administration in 2010.
In klopp’s first summer they had a net spend of 5m
Net spend of 20m the summer after
Had to sell Coutinho to bring in Van Dijk and Salah
Liverpool have grown their revenue to around £700m in 24/25 while competing for and winning both the Premier League and Champions League.
Hate them obviously, but proof that no sham arrangements are needed in order to bring success under these rules.
City’s owners just didn’t want to and didn’t have the patience to do it organically

I remember when Lampard moved to New York City FC and right after, joined Man City on loan.
It was before Arsenal faced City in the Community Shield in 2014.
Wenger said at the; “He went to New York first, and the shortest way (from Chelsea) to Manchester is not to travel to New York first. If you look at a map, there is a shorter way.”
Man City owns New York City FC.
That club.
Wenger said it at the time that were gaming the system.
Between 2008 and January 2014, Arsenal spent £11m net on transfers while Man City spent more than £500m net on transfers.
How could Arsenal have competed?

I want every single @ManCity fan to know I am here; more than ever. I am, always have been, always will, be behind my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran, the players, staff, Enzo and you, our unique supporters.
Let me be clear: we will get through this together.
I love you all 🩵

Back in 2014, there was a man who was already aware of the irregularities involving Manchester City. That man now runs FIFA. The infamous Gianni Infantino, then UEFA General Secretary, abused his authority, shared confidential documents and, in short, outmanoeuvred the Investigatory Chamber, doing everything in his power to ensure that both Manchester City and PSG would merely receive a fine, avoiding a deeper investigation that could have led to a Champions League ban. All of these details were also revealed through Football Leaks.
Given his actions as UEFA General Secretary and, more recently, as FIFA President, I can only say, in my humble opinion, that Gianni Infantino has become a cancer on football and should have no place in the future of the game.

The Red Cartel:
Liverpool and Manchester United haven't transferred a player between them since 1964.
LFC hasn't sold a player to Arsenal since 1991.
The Blue Cartel:
City signed Enzo in the summer.
Sterling to Chelsea in 2022
Palmer to Chelsea in 2023
Kovacic to City- 2023.

At the time LFC were acquired by FSG we were almost broke & heading for liquidation. City were in a better financial position. There was no 'Red Cartel' shite 15 years ago.
How come we didn't require a billion of shady money and cheating to return to the top? How come City did?

Gerrard now has a PL title, Klopp has 2 more, van dijk has 2 more, Salah has 2 more, we have some agendas to run immediately.

Football is so funny because Szoboszlai came on last night, we lost any sort of control that our teenagers midfielders had of the game, he misplaced simple passes, missed a sitter then scored one of the best goals you’ll see and now you’re not allowed to criticise the performance

James Milner has been coaching at Liverpool's Kirkby training complex.
The 40-yr-old is not a permanent member of staff, though. He is there to gain experience.
Was spotted on Saturday in full Liverpool attire, taking an under-11s session.

In every one of these clips, Coutinho has Jordan Henderson and James Milner behind him.. two players who'd run through a brick wall for Liverpool. Wirtz has Szoboszlai and Gravenberch usually miles out of position and neither are interested in doing the dirty work.
