I know exactly zero people who have an extra $100 a WEEK to invest after necessities and putting money toward regular savings. The “simple hack” seems to be once again just…being wealthy lol
I know everyone is all happy about this time change but this is the worst time of year for me because I FINALLY got to see a tiny bit of sun sometimes the week before and then we changed the clocks back and now it’s back to dark for AM and PM commute 😭😭😭

They did. And that’s why the people I know who have not been vaxxed or didn’t keep up on vaccinations, didn’t. Because “why would I get vaxxed if it doesn’t actually prevent covid and it’s unlikely I would get significantly more sick without it”?
I have always known this but I even work in healthcare and know and understand the system well and trying to advocate for myself so that I am not severely permanently disabled with a severe acute issue has brought me to tears repeatedly this week
On a related note: was talking to friends yesterday about how people keep making posts like “the poor people who have to clean it up” and everyone was like “ITS ME!! I HAVE TO CLEAN IT UP!!I make the mess knowing it’s literally my job to clean it up, it’s how this works!!” 😂😂
It’s wild to me to watch how much it upsets people it does not in any way affect, yet when you are actually here it is some of the most love, passion, and unity across all ways of life and historically tense divides I’ve ever witnessed or experienced. Yet it invokes SO much anger
1) $125k/yr meets all my needs, no reason to make money for the sake of making money and enjoying my life less
2) Money wise it’s more like $10k difference…post tax even less
480hrs/yr commute time = $25k
Gas for 18k miles commuted = $2.5k
Car wear and tear = $5k
