FOMO was the visual storytelling of maid of honor & habibti with a couple of other new songs attached to it. Overall I do believe my expectations were too far off, I wasn’t thinking about those 2 albums getting visuals attached to them outside of a couple tracks, but honestly I can’t say I’m surprised. It only makes sense that he would do that, hence the “fear of missing out.” Putting my expectations to the side though, for the next tracks that were previewed, there was some 🔥
That Drake x don choosin Texas remix was fire

Anyway still fomo TMW. Re-run iceman backwards. My breakdown was taking too much time that I don’t got 😭😭 but I still believe that listening to iceman in reverse will give you a different perspective on the album.
People will call me crazy, they’ll say to let it go. But when I say this, this strictly my interpretation, I could be REACHING like fuck.. & truth be told idk if it was divine intervention that led me to this but regardless… right before fomo drops 48 hours from now.. I SIMPLY ASK THAT YOU LISTEN TO ICEMAN FROM BACK TO FRONT. MAKE THEM KNOW TO MAKE THEM CRY & TELL ME IT DOESNT SOUND DIFFERENT.
When you listen to it in reverse, it sounds like right after the events of 2024, Drake makes a song like make them know- as he’s said in the song, “ I tried & tried & tried,” to make things work with him & his peers throughout the years but as we clearly see it didn’t end up working which is why he said “ til the r switched place with the I.” Make them know almost serves as this song of renewal & confirmation. As after all of the bullshit that got thrown his way, he now knows that he has no other option but to dominate now, no more room to share the spotlight, he simply just gonna take it because he knows that he can hence why the ending of the song is the sample of “ iceman… why are you so cold… freeze the world.” Almost like he’s giving himself the right of passage to do what’s he’s been doing all throughout this year thus far & leading up to whatever fomo might be.
Now listening to firm friends as the “second track,” of the album. It serves as this song for Drake to truly acknowledge the meaning & importance of friendship, directly after the biggest attack on his career. Drake has always rapped about his shaky friendships with his peers throughout his career, so to actually get a song where he not only address those shaky relationships but also his real & stable ones, it allows him to not only let the public know that when you really reach the point where he has not only financially but publicly, the loyalty of the people around you, WILL BE TESTED & that will be their own decision to make & whether they decide to stay is a testament to not only their loyalty but also a testament to your own character. Mind you if you listen to it in reverse, as the second song, it makes soo much more sense because throughout the regular album we know they’re disses towards people, but when you listen to it in reverse order, with firm friends as the second song, it sounds like a Drake following after realizing who his truest friends are, that he his now ready to completely destroy everyone who opposes him with no regret “ I got shots about to fly at some of yall heads again, man shots about to fly.”
Now when you listen to it regularly, to us it sounds like Drake is getting ready to send more shots to whoever upon the release of FOMO, but when you listen to it in reverse order, this song serves as a warning to whoever is getting ready to listen to the album, before any real disses are even mentioned.
