Abortion is healthcare, not a crime. TX DAs are pledging not to prosecute abortions, but Harris Co isn't on the list. @KimOggForDA, will you pledge to protect Texans who need abortion care and not prosecute abortions?
If you’re against abortion, don’t get one. If you’re against contraception, don’t take any. If you’re against same-sex relationships, don’t have one. If you’re against same-sex marriage, don’t marry someone of same gender. Do not impose your beliefs & religion on all Americans.

When we’re pissed we do pointillism and poetry. And pay our abortion funds good money! #RoeVWade #poetrytwitter #amwriting #AbortionIsEssential

Okay, okay, I admit I needed to slow my jam on this vibe. It’s actually quite nice, just doesn’t have as much personalization capacity as I would want. But I still love what I ended up with!
As someone who has been around the block coding my cool myspace page back in the day, I’m here to say, after two hours and seven help videos, Squarespace is, in fact, not as intuitive and lovely as anyone makes it sound.

Watch @SciShowKids for the experiment fun, read #ZoeyandSassafrass by @AsiaCitroAuthor so you, too, will have a dedicated hypothesis paper living in your kitchen. Nerdy toddlers are the best toddlers. #parentinghacks

Wait, so gun control laws aren’t going to help prevent shootings but laws against abortion are supposed to stop abortions?

Across the country, parents are putting their children to bed, reading stories, singing lullabies—and in the back of their minds, they’re worried about what might happen tomorrow after they drop their kids off at school, or take them to a grocery store or any other public space.

The issue is money in politics. They’re allowing children to die because of the gun lobby. They’re allowing the planet to die because of Big Oil. They’re allowing people to go without healthcare and die because of the insurance lobby. Inaction is bought.

this is all I can think about
These are elementary school children who woke up this morning. Who ate their favorite cereal. Who tied their shoes in double knots. Who laughed with friends on the bus. Now more than a dozen are dead. This isn’t normal. It doesn’t have to be this way. It can’t keep being this way
Anxious is the biggest understatement in this announcement, but at least it might be finally happening. Would have been great if we'd already been able to begin Pfizer dosages. At this rate, school will begin before complete vaccination (via Pfizer's schedule) could be complete.
Replying to @FDA
We know parents are anxious for us to determine if these vaccines are safe & effective. In light of the disclosure by Pfizer re: their data & anticipated dates for submission, we believe that we will complete review of both EUA requests within days of one another.

Yet another way our system is so, so absurdly broken.
George W. Bush and Donald Trump both lost the popular vote and appointed five of these judges who will shape American life (and, on climate, life on Earth) for decades. Some democracy.
Democrats must act on abortion. We control the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. It’s time for us to lead, and codify Roe. In the meantime, it’s important to communicate clearly that abortion is still legal.

End the filibuster. Codify #RoeVWade with a national law protecting abortion rights. Expand the Supreme Court. Stop this horrifying injustice in its tracks.

We’re horrified, saddened, and livid. If you are too, then now is the time to show up and show them our movement won't back down from protecting our reproductive rights. Tomorrow, at 5pm your local time, we’re rallying across America for abortion rights: act.womensmarch.com/sign/roe…
The Supreme Court has voted to strike down Roe v. Wade, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito and obtained by POLITICO. “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” Alito writes. politico.com/news/2022/05/02…
