Welcome new followers.
I'm JB, a bestselling #TTRPG writer, editor, layout artist, and designer.
I post dad-tier general advice, ADHD reminders, slice-of-life stuff, and #DMTip(s).
Be considerate and compassionate here or I'll block you, full stop.

By the way, if you didn't know, I am on Bluesky mostly, now.
I'm also offering 25 free copies of one of my bestselling PDFs for #dnd5e - feel free to go grab a copy! Consider giving me a follow, too, please?

I feel too much; poetry is a rush of absinthe and philosophy that floods my bones.

The production company behind ‘BLADE RUNNER 2049’ is suing Elon Musk & Tesla for allegedly feeding images from the movie into an AI generator to create unlicensed promo photos.
Warner Bros is also named for facilitating the partnership.

Apparently (according to my PHD), 90% of serotonin production is in the gut. Brain scrambles/misreads the vagus nerve signals for serotonin production, gut doesn't produce enough: serotonin affects gut contractions, blood vessel and heart contractions, immune responses, etc etc.
Hey, #TTRPG fam.
What's a game you've tried in the past year that you just really, really enjoy?
In less than 10 words, tell me your favorite thing about it?
I wanna do more reviews in 2025, and I need stuff to start looking into/playtesting!
I sincerely feel like Turb0Tax gets a little worse each and every year, and honestly - it was SO bad 8 years ago that I didn't think it COULD get worse.
Kudos for surpassing my wildest expectation.

For MC Vegas, I'm so excited to see everyone, but I'm horrendous at making plans. I'm pretty much planning on spending all day every day in the Command Zone, so feel free to hook me into plans 😅 i will have my car, and I know some decent places to eat away from the Strip

#dnd5e - a game of heroes and adventurers journeying into dangerous places to destroy evil creatures and return laden with wealth.
Actual D&D - "How many pets can I have?" "The room costs 3 silver, but i give the innkeep 5 gold." "You said there's a frog?! Is the frog fat?! <3"
Reminder - i will write this screenplay if you pay me.

... so my job is essentially backing me into a corner and forcing me to quit. Therefore I'm job hunting again.
If anyone would be willing or interested in purchasing a service, that would mean the world.
Do you ever give your #TTRPG players/table homework prompts to help them think about their character outside of game?
Like: "Where did your character last RELAX?"
Should I just compile a little workbook about that? I've been doing it for YEARS and just assumed everyone did.

THANK YOU!
With 89 backers and 1816 euros funded, we have passed the halfway mark! Let’s keep this momentum going so we can get to those stretch goals: backerkit.com/c/projects/hen…
Reminds me of a discussion I had with a peer in the #TTRPG space.
It's important to measure your PCs and adjust your games based on HOW DOMESTIC THEY ARE.
A gladiator, swordsman, battle wizard, and doomsday warlock tell a different story than a fashionista and antiques dealer.
