Man, I’m sick of this @MizzouFootball - @TexasFootball game. Why would TX not win if you have officiating that is completely one-sided, plus amazing luck. I wonder how much the refs believed that @TexasFootball didn’t deserve a 3rd loss. The @SEC should be ashamed of this game.

Folks in rural Missouri who care about their schools and the wellbeing of their communities should pay close attention to this.
The current Missouri Speaker of the House has called for consolidating our Missouri schools into approximately 60 school districts- to look more like Florida and improve "efficiency." Here's an example of what our school districts could look like if we don't make sure legislators hear our voices. The fight doesn't end on Election Day. @MoEducation @MSTA @MissouriNEA @MissouriSBA @MASALeaders @MoSenDems @MOSenateGOP

A private prison company offered Minnesota an empty prison for 75 million dollars. The state said no. Then Trump’s administration paid the same company almost 500 million for it.
The prison has sat empty in Appleton, Minnesota since 2010. Last year CoreCivic emailed the state and offered to sell it for 75 million, upgrades included. Minnesota passed. Fifteen months later, Homeland Security bought it for an ICE detention center at 495.6 million.
How could this be? You guessed it. CoreCivic gave half a million dollars to Trump’s inaugural committee. And it still gets paid about 75 million a year to run the place.
Republicans love talking about fraud in Minnesota. JD Vance says his task force is all over it. So where are they on this one? I break it all down in today’s show (link in reply).
There’s a good reason why the framers of our Constitution established Congress in Article I, rather than the Executive. Congress should cease being a bunch of vassals.
Isn’t it kind of funny that we can offer political asylum to some folks from other countries but not for others, depending solely on whether the refugee’s politics are right-wing enough? yahoo.com/news/us/articles/b…

I now have two sources close to Susie Wiles who claim that Trump is preparing a vast misinformation campaign for November 4th, built around conspiracy theories alleging widespread election fraud.
The plan? Declare victory regardless of the results, accuse Democratic officials of manufacturing ballots overnight, claim voting machines were secretly manipulated, and demand that Republican candidates refuse to concede.
In this scenario, the goal isn’t to prove fraud. It’s to convince millions of Americans that any election Republicans lose must have been stolen.
President Donald Trump joked Tuesday night that the $5,000 payments he’s promised U.S. adults would buy little more than “a hamburger and maybe a small dessert” at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, a week before the midterm election dominated by voters’ concerns over affordability.
Trump has pledged $5,000 to every adult citizen if his fellow Republicans retain majorities in both the House and Senate, specifying the money must be spent in the U.S.

Trump’s closing message to voters ahead of the midterms:
“You could even come to Mar-a-Lago… The problem is that for $5,000, the most you’ll be able to buy is a hamburger and maybe a small dessert. I’m not even sure you could buy that.”

When he says “we’re making money” let’s be clear. He doesn’t mean America. He means his family, his friends, and the corrupt cabal of crooks and grifters he surrounds himself with. They love when gas goes up. It’s a golden opportunity for them to make money by screwing over the rest of us.
The most important issue not being talked about during this midterm is the spiraling, out of control cost of our federal debt. It is not just a D or R issue, it is an issue of national security. Repaying the debt will soon swallow our budget. It will only get worse with no action

Nancy Pelosi, who is regularly hammered for her perceived insider trading, has made 213 total trades since 2014. Trump exceeded that number in a single day, which just happened to precede his own tariffs announcement. My latest on the mind boggling self-enrichment:
Short answer: the Boss told me to get it done.
BRENNAN: The DOJ lawsuit demands the Alaska result not be certified if voters are confused. The confusion is defined as Sen. Sullivan not winning.
BLANCHE: That's not what it says
BRENNAN: I'm quoting from it. You are telling them not to certify it. What right does the federal government have telling a state not to certify?
TRUMP on HIGH GAS PRICES: We’re making money like we’ve never made before. They’ll say: President Trump is bragging about all the money they're making while people are suffering at the pump. I don’t give a damn. We’re making a freaking fortune.

An analysis of voter registration records reveals Republican operative Scott Presler had 3 out-of-state voters use his Pennsylvania address to vote in the 2024 election.
This is what voter fraud looks like.
Doesn’t it make you feel good to know that the world’s richest man has just spent a HALF BILLION $ trying to elect his favorite candidates? I’m sure he has the wellbeing of all us common folks in his heart as he endorses. 🤣
