You just voted to defund schools that exercise free speech.
Hasan Piker’s scheduled appearance at the University of Texas is deeply concerning.
Free speech allows difficult and controversial views, but it does not require anyone to stay silent when someone has a history of hateful comments about Jewish Americans, 9/11, and Hamas terrorism.
Jewish students at UT should not be made to feel targeted or unsafe on their own campus.
UT should be a place for debate, learning, and respect, not antisemitism or rhetoric that excuses terrorism.
Leaders in both parties should be clear: antisemitism and hate must be condemned wherever they appear.

1. We have excellent data on what Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank believe about the existence of a Jewish state of Israel. You know this and are being deliberately ignorant. Meanwhile, you have literally no idea who the people are in the UT photo, whether they're even on a visa, or third-generation immigrants, let alone what they think.
2. I have been an immigration hawk with regard to illegal immigration for decades. And I have always opposed importation of people who oppose assimilation to the West. Always. Stop lying.

No Ben, you don’t know that Palestinians are bad by looking at them. That’s your feelings getting in the way of facts again.
The point is that Americans don’t like the broader policy that replaces the domestic population against their will. This picture is obviously just a little microcosm of the gigantic shift happening in America.
