Here's a snippet of all of the coughs that needed to be edited out. Being ill is no fun. Stay healthy this holiday season!
I'll be traveling around Black Friday, so I went ahead and put the sale on. $144/year (normally $190/year) for the Pro Subscription. driftingruby.com/
I did run into one issue with the ALB. I set the connection type to HTTP/2 which is not supported with Websockets. But, I added another TargetGroup for the /cable path and it connects with HTTP/1.1. Websockets working. Hope that helps someone if they run into the same issue.
Drifting Ruby is now on Rails 7.1.0 and I've switched the infrastructure from Elastic Beanstalk to an Application Load Balancer + EC2 instances (Deployed with Kamal)!
Been working on a really cool feature. Sometimes, you may want to find a video, but cannot remember which video or where within the video it occurred. Now, Pro members can search for a phrase and find if it was mentioned and where it was mentioned in the video.
Got a pretty cool episode coming up. Forecasting data with Machine Learning and displaying the results. #ruby #MachineLearning
Made some improvements to the AI closed caption model that I'm self hosting and re-transcribing all of the videos. The energy required to calculate each video on average is $0.00013. This is cheaper than AWS Transcribe service (minus the hardware). #AI #MachineLearning
