We have a new survey report out today @Civiqs that takes a deep look at how Americans are using AI, whether they like what AI can do, and what their concerns are about the technology. People are responding to AI very seriously. (1/)
The report is here: civiqs.com/reports/2025/08/3…
As we write: "Establishing trust in the helpfulness and safety of AI will require that people have successful interactions with AI technology, as companies work to address the concerns that people express about AI today." (10/)
Overall, the report is based on over 10,000 responses nationwide from April 2025 to August 2025. (11/11)
More results, including trends and additional information about AI adoption and usage are in the report: civiqs.com/reports/2025/08/3…
It took four months, but Gavin Newsom's favorable rating recovered from the hit it took after his Charlie Kirk interview. (all US)

There's a new email newsletter from @Civiqs that I'm excited to announce. It's called Immediate Reaction, and it answers the question: what news stories are actually breaking through to people, and how are they responding?

The daily polling is already part of what Civiqs does. What's new is that we've integrated AI into summarizing the responses into a clear and succinct readout.
We pull out the top stories that people mention, and describe how Democrats, Republicans, and Independents each react.
Over time, you can see which issues come and go and which have staying power. It gives you a view directly into the media bubbles of people who are very different from yourself.
Here again is the link to get Immediate Reaction in your inbox! bit.ly/4lP1yKP
Trump's announcement of tariffs on April 2 is subtly but clearly driving down his job approval rating. The trend is being led by Independents who have gone from -10 to -15 net approval in the last week.
