Seen a couple users asking so figured I would chime in and say you do not not a new save for this. If you have an old MyCAREER Eras save you can use that same save to continue to new Eras now.

MyCAREER Eras saves can now transition across Eras chronologically, for up to a full 25-year career. It’s one for the history books. 📜🔥

Reminder to the 2K fans tagging me that there is some stuff that I just straight up can't comment on. Especially if it's stuff that would involve giving technical explanations on why something isn't possible, or what we can do. Hope you're enjoying patch 2 I still love you all <3

Y'all can now play Eras saves for 25 seasons, enabling you to advance between Eras. Go get D Rose some rings for me

We promised action against cheating in NBA 2K27. Today, that action begins — the first wave of permanent bans is live, with more to come. Thank you for making the community equal and fair for all.
