Hi @andyburnham @AngelaRayner My team have contacted @ukhomeoffice @DHSCgovuk @NHSEngland on this. We have had to chase them again today… We are pushing for answers / update & trying to get this little 6 year old boy the support he needs. It shouldn’t be difficult to get a little boy help, when his mum has been murdered by an illegal migrant. The government should be falling over itself to help him… Angela / Andy. You are both parents…I’m astonished you haven’t made sure he is helped💔 I’m not giving up and will do everything I can to help make sure he gets what he needs.
I was devastated tonight to learn that the son of murdered Rhiannon Whyte has NOT been provided any professional support. He is just 6 years old💔 As taxpayers, we fund illegal migrants to their hearts’ content. Yet this little boy has been thrown on the scrap heap after horrendously losing his mother. @andyburnham this is an absolute scandal. This family should not have to desperately try and access help, only to be passed from pillar to post & end up with nothing. This little boy should be helped. It is the very least our government can do for him. My viewers, like me, were heartbroken and saddened to hear this tonight. I spoke to Alex after the show and offered to help. I will not let this little boy down. If our government won’t help him (and we’ve reached out to them tonight), I’ll make sure he gets the help he needs, some other way.

I remember the good old days when you could disagree with someone without being a complete dick about it.

Watching British politics at the moment feels like one endless civil war. Reform fighting Restore. Restore fighting Reform. Labour trying to rebrand itself. Westminster obsessed with personalities and political theatre. Meanwhile ordinary people are still dealing with struggling towns, declining high streets, rising costs and communities that feel forgotten. At some point politics has to become about the public again, not endless factional drama.

Bloody brilliant. Always been a @ColinBrazierTV fan; he's a master of monologues. Thks to @OutpostStudios we get to hear him weekly. But this one on BREXIT is v special, v personal. Every word resonates. I even cried a bit. So humane. Related to Jo's story. If you voted Leave OR Remain please listen
Which words come to mind when you think about Brexit? This week, as politicians threaten to restart the Brexit wars, join @ColinBrazierTV as he takes us through his personal Brexit story. Colin Brazier: In Defence of Brexit. Only on Outpost.

We’ve now spent £1.2 billion on the Lower Thames Crossing. Who says we don’t invest in infrastructure? One day, I’m told, we may even start to build it.

Angela Rayner is the favourite to become the next Labour leader and therefore, Prime Minister. God help us. Look at this interview where Andrew Neil asks her some straightforward questions on taxation. She is so out of her depth that even a lifeboat would struggle to rescue her.

Unemployment in the UK rose to a five-year high in the three months to December as the labour market continues to weaken. The number of people on payrolls dropped by 134,000 in the year to January. The unemployment rate rose to 5.2% in the three months to December, up from 5.1%. Unemployment was 4.4% when Labour took office July 2024. There are now just shy of 2m unemployed in the UK. In addition there are around 5m of working age who are not working but claiming various welfare benefits who do not show up in the unemployment figures because they are not looking for work.

I flipping love this woman! Well said. @Councillorsuzie you’re a gem!
Unemployment figures going up and up. This will affect poor families in a catastrophic way. I thought Labour were there ‘for the workers’ - rubbish. They have no idea how the economy works. They cannot be trusted to run the economy.

Utterly disgusting, what indeed are they hiding?
🚨Just a reminder that British Parliament voted 364 to 111 AGAINST a national investigation of mass child rape AFTER learning that more than 250,000 young white girls were raped my Muslim men. What are they trying to hide?

Replying to @policylaila
Laila. You are attacking this Conservative MP for being dismissive of our inquiry. How have Reform contributed to the rape gang inquiry? All Reform MPs were asked to attend our survivor event in Westminster. None came. More Labour MPs made the effort than Reform. They certainly had the time - Lee Anderson posted a picture of himself enjoying a pint later that day. What about the ongoing hearings? Farage and Anderson were both invited to attend our hearings in early December in an attempt to make this a cross-party effort. I asked for their help. Both entirely ignored me. Braverman was also invited. She also didn’t bother to respond. I spoke with Jenrick at length about attending. We had positive discussions, and then he defected to Reform. He proceeded to entirely ignore me. Sarah Pochin, in fairness, had the decency to politely turn down the invitation. Both the Conservatives and Labour have shown more support for our efforts on the rape gangs than Reform. What a shitty indictment of your party that is.
