Thanks so much to @BenBreinerTSP for sharing our family story & to @TheStarPress for the really cool web design thestarpress.com/longform/sp…
Great job by @TommyBirch on his feature story in today’s @DMRsports section about Johnny Bright. I am incredibly grateful to our donors and @DUBulldogs staff that made this weekend unforgettable. Johnny’s story and legacy should inspire us all.
Incredibly proud of Elliot & Noah for how they closed out their cross country seasons this week. Elliot won the Class 4A 7th grade state meet today, helping his Johnston squad to the team title. Wednesday, Noah ran a PR & finished 3rd in the 9/10 division of his conference meet.
Great job by @Admire_OnAir capturing yesterday’s unveiling of the new Johnny Bright statue that stands outside of Drake Stadium. #DSMHometownTeam

This was undoubtedly one of my favorite experiences working at @DrakeUniversity. Seeing the reaction from the Bright family will stick with me. I'm grateful to my @DUBulldogs & campus colleagues for helping us get to this fantastic day. Johnny Bright's story is one worth sharing.
Congrats @Drakemensgolf and Jake Weissenburger on your victories at the Kemper Lakes Intercollegiate! Bulldogs won the team title by eight shots and Jake was five strokes better than anyone else in the field. scoreboard.clippd.com/tourna…
We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and commitment to excellence this group has given to the student-athletes, coaches, and staff of Drake Athletics. I'm happy to be able to recognize them with these title promotions.
Nine key members of the athletics staff have received title promotions for their impact to Drake's culture, operations, and general success.

Love that @SportsGuysIowa believes Mediacom Stadium is the best football stadium in Iowa. I was in a meeting last week with @IHSAA exec director & he raved about the stadium for its boys soccer state tournament. @DrakeUniversity & @DMschools are proud of what we built together.
IA HS Playoff Football is coming soon...we got a fun game to cover on Thursday in DSM. Some breaking news while the fellas were recording the Chad Harberts Football Show today.
SC East at DSM Roosevelt in the best HS Football facility in the State at Mediacom Stadium in Des Moines. (our opinion, and yes it's better than the UNI Dome for HS)
We love the set-up at Mediacom for Football and doing a big HS game there this Thursday night will be fun.
A fantstic way to get a Thursday thru Sunday Football weekend rolling.

#1 in Iowa 💙
Drake University has been ranked as Iowa’s top college by @TIME magazine in its new “America’s Best Colleges” list — a recognition of the outcomes, mentorship, and real-world experience that define a Drake education.
This recognition reflects what makes the Drake experience distinctive: small classes, personalized mentorship, hands-on experience, and a campus community focused on student success from day one. #DrakeUniversity #Iowa
