Hi Twitter! 🥹 I hate asking for help, but the last time I told myself I could do it on my own, I lost my father… and I really don’t want that to happen again. Not with so many years that are left for her to live. My mom is struggling and is hospitalized after collapsing. It’s always been me to get hospitalized, and having her now be hospitalized is make me dread the possibilities. It is anticipated that it will take her 4 months to recover, but she’s already experiencing delays with her surgery wound drainage. The costs of surgery, a long hospital stay, inpatient physical therapy, and physical therapy after she gets home are making my head spin. If you went to OffKai, you most likely met my goofy mom. She’s always so full of energy and has never been sick or injured. Seeing her like this is crushing me, and even with her not being able to move, she still insists on worrying for MY health. The woman can’t even move any body parts… I keep telling her she needs to work on her own recovery!!! All this being said: anything will help! A donation, a like, a retweet… literally any of these. It’s going to be a long road ahead and I’m having to put aside most of my priorities to make sure she heals. I can’t afford to lose my last parent before I accomplish what I’ve been wanting to. 🥹
