can anyone tell me what happens when home prices keep going up, there is no crash, and nobody can afford a home?
Americans hoping for an 08-style housing crash to afford a home are out of luck trib.al/qQkI7XJ

Don’t worry about the plague outbreak in Russia. We have a heroin addict who eats roadkill and hates scientists in charge of a defunded CDC, so I’m sure everything is under control.

When Republicans talk about "deregulation," here's what that means in practice: Companies are allowed to cut corners on food safety to increase their profits and our food becomes unsafe to eat, and shortages drive up prices for consumers.
The FDA has announced a recall of ice cream due to possible contamination with metal.

No, poverty is not natural. Capitalism keeps people poor on purpose, because only poor people are willing to work for low wages. We're forced to. The fact that we have 80% poverty globally today is the curse of capitalism. It creates poverty on purpose.

Povert is the natural state of humanity That we have classes of people who are able to marshal resources such that can have iPhones and trips to Dubai is the miracle.

I’ma be honest with y’all PlayStation players. As someone who’s been a PlayStation bro since the PS1, if you buy a $1,000 console just to basically rent games from their servers, you are literally an IRL NPC.
Former PlayStation boss, isn’t convinced gamers will be willing to spend around $1,000 on PS6 or Xbox’s Project Helix if the upgrades are mostly technical. He says that simply adding more ray tracing, higher TFlops, and better graphics may not be enough to make people reach into their pockets for another expensive console. “I don’t know if that message resonates to the consumer to reach into their pocket and pull out $1,000.” Layden says console upgrades used to feel much more dramatic, comparing the jump from PS1 to PS2 to moving from VHS to DVD. Today, the difference between generations can be much harder to notice. “Has technology reached some kind of plateau?”

"it will replace you if you don’t embrace it." They've stopped even pretending the point of developing AI is to benefit humanity.
I don’t give a f*ck if you don’t like AI. It’s here to stay and it will replace you if you don’t embrace it. Being anti-tech is the lowest IQ thing you can do.
