This is an attempted coup fueled by the President of the United States. This is not a protest — it’s violent, far-right extremism, and it's endangering lives and our democracy at the Capitol right now.

When my husband leaves for emergency surgeries at night...I worry. I know that at any moment, the color of his skin can make him a #victim. I know some would easily mistake him for a thug or thief rather than a Harvard trained plastic surgeon. The killings must stop. #GeorgeFloyd
