“All good clean fun!”, not really! But very grateful to Jo and Phil for temporary lodging in 18 Fountain Street while we find a new home for the Tumaini Shop. We are still 4 months behind in paying our hardworking social work team in Tz so the shop income-stream is so important.

Very moving time yesterday paying respects at the Palace in Oslo, with friends, on the death of King Harald V who was an amazing and very relatable King. There were thousands of people there, laying flowers and lighting candles. ❤️‍🩹🇳🇴

A very interesting time with Janet Eriksen and her sewing ladies in Askim, Norway 🇳🇴- they have made around 1000 hygiene kits so that our girls can get to school during their periods. “Tusend Takk Norge” 🇳🇴 #BeTheDifference

So lovely to spend time with Viv’s daughter Sarah and her husband Bijarke in Copenhagen- they looked after me so well. Thanks to Sarah for taking on the donated Royal Copenhagen Christmas plates to sell for Tumaini - definitely a case of “coals to Newcastle”! ❤️🇩🇰❤️

4 month old Elias looks much better sitting on Granny than on me!! He is on our milk programme because he lost his Mum at 3 weeks old. Most of these babies die shortly after birth due to gastroenteritis from infected uji (gruel) but we will supply milk until he is 2 yrs old.

The pool at the back was the previous water source at Mtakuja, water for 782 humans but shared with cattle and goats and so they suffered persistent illnesses & childhood deaths. Thanks to TF USA 🇺🇸 we constructed this lovely well in 2025 and there was great thanks & joy.💕🇹🇿💕🇺🇸

What a gorgeous home (look at that door - crafted by our carpentry school) in Rukaragata, replacing a horrible leaking mud shack. What beautiful children and what a privilege to lift them up and see their dignity restored.
