Washington is broken because too many career politicians have forgotten who they work for. I’m not running for Congress to join the establishment. I’m running to clean it up. That means term limits, banning insider trading by members of Congress, ending lobbyist gifts, and restoring accountability to a system that has put insiders ahead of the American people for far too long. I’m a Doctor, businessman, and conservative outsider and I’m ready to fight for South Carolina families and bring real accountability back to Washington.

First, I want to congratulate my opponents on their victory tonight and wish them the best in the upcoming runoff election. Whoever wins that runoff will have my full support to win the general election this fall. Next, I want to thank my wife for her love and steadfast support throughout this entire campaign. I also want to give a massive thank you to my staff and our incredible team of supporters. I have developed such a deep admiration for all of you. I have been truly blessed to meet so many patriots who selflessly donate their time and energy out of a profound love for our country. Moving forward, I will continue to pray for our nation and its leaders. I pray they lead us, and the world, toward the peace and prosperity of democracy and free enterprise, rather than the illusion of communism which invariably results in dictatorship and poverty for everyone.
