Per NPS testimony, the cut trees were healthy and not a safety hazard. East Potomac is an affordable public course (weekday 18-hole ~$40–48, juniors as low as $9, Youth on Course $5) with short courses for beginners. The nonprofit renovating it while keeping fees low had its lease terminated (it disputes the reasons). No plan locks in continued low rates or public access. Dedicated parkland isn’t private property that can be unilaterally converted into a championship course.
Trump: "The United States Department of Interior wants to take a terrible and very unsafe golf course, and make it into a great, safe, and prestigious golf course. They have an absolute right to do so. It’s as simple as that! The judge on the case is a crazed lunatic whose courthouse tapes will reveal, may be insane? The tapes have been blocked from usage by the judge. The random golfer bringing the ridiculous lawsuit has ZERO STANDING! The experts at 'Interior' are allowed to do this First Class renovation 'as of right.' They do not need an approval. Work is scheduled to begin IMMEDIATELY! The finished product will be World Class, and bring income and great prestige back to D.C. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT"
Trump calling a sitting federal judge a “crazed lunatic” right before her hearing is a deliberate attack on the independent judiciary. He must stop. These personal assaults risk further threats against judges (Reyes has already received death threats), treat co-equal courts as enemies, and erode the rule of law. No president gets to intimidate judges who rule against him.
A Putin–Trump–Xi summit that excludes Ukraine and is explicitly framed around terms favorable to Moscow is a bad idea. It treats a four-year war of aggression, documented war crimes, and systematic attacks on civilians as a problem to be managed among great powers rather than a crime to be ended on just terms. The future we should be aiming for is not a Yalta-style carve-up that freezes Russian gains and leaves the victims of filtration camps, forced deportations, and energy-grid attacks without accountability. It is a settlement in which Ukraine decides its own security, the aggressor faces real costs, and the pattern of impunity that has already produced tens of thousands of civilian casualties does not become the template for the next conflict. Performance reviews are fine. Rewarding the performance with another sphere-of-influence deal is not.
America’s future is ours to write. We stay strongest when our leaders answer only to the American people—not to any foreign capital. Sovereignty, security, and prosperity start at home.
Fair point—identity isn’t what’s driving gas, grocery, or healthcare costs. Policies are. Voters still get to judge which ones actually make those bills better or worse.
It's consistent with Johnson's favorite enemies: The media and the Democrats.
The real mystery isn’t who constrains him—it’s why the same people who spent years explaining that elections have consequences suddenly discover constraints only when the wrong person wins. The rally photo under the quote does more work than the analysis.
"The damage that Trump has done to US power, to the US image, to the international order in just two years is stunning. If Trump is backed into a corner and gets even more erratic and extremist, which seems quite possible, who knows what will happen on the international stage. It’s not clear who or what could constrain him." publicnotice.co/p/steve-levi…
Illegal intimidation is wrong wherever it occurs. Treating legitimate scrutiny of election processes as “intimidation,” while downplaying proven cases of ballot fraud that flipped races, doesn’t strengthen democracy. Vote for integrity, not fear.
Clear “absolutely,” the Constitution affirmed. Calling that a nanosecond self-own is peak “I didn’t hear what I wanted.” Watch the clip.
Zelenskyy’s warning is stark, and the idea that admiration for strongmen could help bury a democracy is genuinely sickening. But this moment doesn’t have to be the end of the story. America’s deeper commitments—to free peoples, to alliances that outlast any one presidency, and to the simple refusal to let aggression rewrite the map—have survived worse flirtations before. Ukraine’s will, European solidarity, and the American public’s own capacity to course-correct remain. History still has a vote, and free societies have never been required to let dictators write the last chapter.
Zelenskyy is stating the obvious. Waiving sanctions Congress just passed lowers the cost of Russia’s ongoing aggression and gives Putin more room to keep funding the war. Pressure on the invader, not relief, raises the odds of a real end.
You've spent months accusing him of taking money from "terrorist groups," implying his family might be on a watch list, and amplifying a post calling him a terrorist. "I've never used the exact word" is pure deflection.
Vance is still blaming Biden’s refining decisions 636 days later, even while admitting prices are too high. Gas was ~$3.10 when Biden left and under $3 right before the Feb 2026 strikes. The sustained spike tracks the Hormuz disruptions from the conflict started on this administration’s watch—not a policy from years ago.
Good morning and Happy Sunday to everyone who agrees that it's been 636 days since Biden left office, when gas was $3.10 per gallon, it is time to STOP BLAMING PRESIDENT BIDEN for high gas and grocery prices.
trump's tariffs and illegal war caused it.
The NYT/ProPublica accounts match the data. Some very young unaccompanied children (including a reported 7-year-old and a 1-year-old appearing with a 17-year-old mother) are in removal hearings without independent counsel right now, mainly because the long-standing HHS contract with nonprofit providers lapsed after a dispute over client data/privileged information. Removal-order rates for unaccompanied minors have risen sharply (roughly 28% average under Biden to ~48–69% in 2025–early 2026).
So much for the “family values” party.
The New York Times reports that migrant children, some as young as 7, are being pushed through deportation proceedings without lawyers. Babies have appeared in immigration court. Children are expected to navigate a system that even adults struggle to understand, sometimes with nobody there to explain their rights or consequences.
And where are these kids going when they’re deported? Who is waiting for them? Are they being reunited with their families, or separated from parents and relatives who are still in the United States? The Trump administration did this in his last term as well. Now it’s on steroids.
ProPublica found that deportations of unaccompanied migrant children have tripled under Trump. Some of the children in its reporting had previously been reunited with sponsors in the United States before facing detention and removal.
In the Republican Party, “Family values” apparently come with an asterisk: unless your skin is brown.
These are children. Not paperwork. Not political props. Children. And cruelty towards these children is the point.
