I was happy to share the excitement of being inducted today into the National Academy of Medicine @theNAMedicine with fellow class of 2024 members Paola Arlotta (noted stem cell biologist @ArlottaLab) and Tina Stankovic (chair of ENT @StanfordMed), and neurosurgeons Robert Martuza (a great mentor and sponsor from @MGBneurosurgery) and Robert Friedlander (friend and chair of Neurosurgery @PittNeurosurg). We shared memories of our early days together @MGHNeurosurg and the varied and unique scientific journeys that brought us to the National Academy of Medicine.
