Yesterday I ran an internal @UWL_SHSS workshop on 'Building your academic brand'. Pleasingly it didn't just attract academics & we had great discussions. In today's fast-paced world it's easy to lose focus on what most enthuses you. Here's some great advice on getting started. 👇
A fascinating day ahead at the @SyInstitute annual conference listening to a host of perspectives on the future of security
Great to be at the @SyInstitute 2022 conference on ‘Protecting Our Future’ in a terrific venue courtesy of @avivaplc. Thanks @SyIChair for the warm words of welcome, and the staff team and directors for pulling together such an engaging programme

It was a sobering chat - some universities are finding very few entry level jobs available in industry for their highly-skilled cyber graduates. Employers asking for min 4 years experience. Keen to hear perspectives?
Thanks @jessicafigueras, Vice-Chair @UKCyberCouncil, for hosting #wmcybergov so ably & chatting to Dr Abel Yeboah-Ofori & me in the break about @UniWestLondon graduates’ transition into #CyberSecurity careers. We’d also love to discuss this with any employers reading this thread!
Delighted to be attending #wmcybergov in London today, with Dr Abel Yeboah-Ofori of @UWL_SCE
Fascinating start to today’s @WhitehallMedia #CyberGov conference with a @DefenceHQ perspective #wmcybergov
