#Osteoarthritis is mechanically-driven. Role of Piezo2 (Nobel prize discovery) in OA mechanical sensitization reviewed by @rem7101 in Novel Mechanisms of Pain Sensitization session at #EULAR2024. Its role in hyperalgesia is not related to OA pathology, & likely linked to NGF.
