I have hated cycling as long as I can remember, but my wife bought us a peloton last autumn and I’ve now done over 100 rides, really enjoy it and feel so much better

I think for the first time today I really missed my NHS work, I was privileged to do a talk today on trauma and FND with other doctors talking about functional pain and IBS - the chat afterwards and interesting discussions were so engaging and interesting!

Realised it’s been a year since I last worked in the NHS, it’s hard not to miss the great colleagues I used to work with, and the wonderful complexity of working as part of a health system. I also miss the patients I build such deep relationships with 1/2
