Could honestly see Barcia having his best 450 SX season in 2027, nothing more motivating than a team that’s willing to put in the work.
I don’t think Kenny ever gets his SX title if he didn’t go Suzuki, and everyone (including me) thought he was crazy for making that move.

I will say I did take their graphic as 105K at the Sunday race…
so more like 45-50K tickets sold. they ONLY made 7.5 mil on tickets, 1.5 mil from the venue, plus in person sponsors, tv ads, and paid streams.
With virtually no overhead. They’re too poor to help teams get there😂

So glad they decided to show WMX races this year and add it to the series! Honestly some of the best racing we have seen all year.. the ladies out did the men many Saturday’s as far as entertainment goes ! WMX is dope 🤙🏻🤙🏻

But idk if I’ll go back next year, unless they make some big changes. Way too many people for this venue, they were far from prepared. Hope Thunder Ridge figures it out for next year.

This is a fact lol the parking behind the pits for industry pretty much requires a 4x4… so glad I drove my jeep today
Here’s how last-minute some of the work at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena was.
Vital MX reports the area currently being used for the SMX pits was still a continuous downhill slope just TWO WEEKS AGO.
That obviously wasn’t going to work for race teams.
Crews reportedly used heavy earthwork, including blasting, to level the area and create the pits that teams are using this weekend.
A pretty wild amount of work went into turning this place into an SMX venue.
