We are coming towards a very tough stretch of away matches, with little rest between games. The team should scrap through as well as they can and I doubt we will come out unscathed. I’ll be happy with some hard fought wins. Everyone else can have their agendas

And we start with the ultimate bullshit of "unconvincing".
3 weeks ago the same people were talking about how incredibly good Arsenal was improving from their last season success.
Not every win is pretty. The capacity to win in difficult grounds, something we've done at Villa Park, the Stadium of Light and City ground, is key in an extremely competitive league like the PL. 9 points where we took 2 last season. "Why don't Arsenal look like champions"? This is exactly like champions look like. Like a team that find solutions to very difficult games improving their last season results.
Arsenal is 10-0-1 this season, playing 7/11 games outside of home, including 4 games in a row on the road, which resulted in the only defeat of the season.
We know have to play 5 out of the next 7 games outside of home including Bayern, Liverpool and Newcastle, 3 very difficult grounds.
12 games away out of 18 including Villa Park, Stadium of Light, City ground, Anfield, Allianz Arena, St James and the American Express to start the season.
Arsenal are reigning champions, have lost just once all season and won again on Sunday.
So why do they look so unconvincing?
Their fans may not care if, as seems likely, they defend their title… but Mikel Arteta’s side remain a tough watch.

Over the last 2-3 seasons, especially for Arsenal .. Champions League performances are almost ENTIRELY DISREGARDED … Lmaoo it’s like the fans feel the way we play there is fake .. and not indicative of who we truly are .. it’s hilarious ..

In football, you’re only as good as the problems you can solve on the pitch.
Talent and tactics make a difference, but none work for each of the 50+ games of the season.
The best teams are the ones that adapt, find the answer required in the field, and create the one or two moments needed to score one more goal than their opposition.

I don’t think our decisions this szn have been faultless but equally sometimes you do need to step back & make sure you are not missing the forest for the trees.
This has been an incredible start to the szn with a team yet to see William Saliba in it.

Just to write a bit on this- games like these is specifically with tactically disciplined teams who can pack the centre baked with athletes that can run with you for 90 mins across the pitch.
We do have an issue dropping out of the blocks when the middle cries for reception.
I think I'm just increasingly disconnected from this relentless online negativity.
Proud of the team for fighting through a really tough match and getting the result.
Nothing undeserved about it. You lot are just bored. Or you’ve forgotten how hard playing any top 10-15 PL side away is
Villa Park, Stadium of Light, Amex and City Ground. 3/4 safely out of the way by October. All good performances bar one. I don’t see the concern

Arsenals transfer strategy is easily the worst ever when it comes to attackers haggle when it comes to top attackers being top dollar but will happily pay for cheap less talented attackers at least invest in top talent if you’re gonna do that latter

Bruno Fernandes can scam all the assist records he wants you’ll never gaslight me into thinking this is an elite level footballer.
