Makin it work since 1978, Doug and the Slugs continue to play shows across Canada. We're proud to keep playing songs by the late, great Doug Bennett (RIP)

Things are getting serious over here as Doug and the Slugs's "Making It Work" defeats the beloved #skinamarink (e-dink e-dink) by Sharon Lois and Bram... WHAT? Now we're up against 'The Hockey Song'? oh Boy! Thank you for your votes! Vote: @CraigBaird - @DougSlugs

We heard that our song "Making It Work" was in the works for #CanadasGreatestSong - well shucks! Not on Twitter full time but clearly many fans are still on here. Thank you @CraigBaird for stirring up this debate. Regardless of results: WE have the BEST FANS!

Makin' it work since 1978, and 'climbing charts' in 2023?! On Monday (Jan 16) ’Slugcology 101’ reached top 5 on iTunes Canada, this followed Sunday’s screening on CBC of the documentary Doug and the Slugs and Me. Huge gratitude to our fans for your feedback & support! @DougSlugs
